What is a Compelling Preaching Cohort?
A Compelling Preaching Cohort is a group of pastors/preachers of common affinity who are journeying and learning together. Each cohort will engage with reading and video material provided by APU scholars and seasoned practitioners. They will meet once a month online to unpack, process, and sharpen one another’s preaching perspectives and skills.
There will also be space within the cohorts for mutual collaboration, resource-sharing, sermon feedback, and encouragement.

Why Join a Cohort?
Our team, at the Center for Vocational Ministry, is asking the question: Would the overall health and flourishing of pastors and preachers increase if they were to be involved in Preaching Cohorts?
Reasons to join a cohort might include, but not be limited to, connecting with and learning from other preachers and scholars, desiring to sharpen one’s preaching skills, exploring the diversity of preaching forms and methods, and connecting, encouraging, and networking with ‘similar others’ who are seeking to preach God’s Word faithfully and effectively.
