Compelling Preaching
What is Compelling Preaching and what makes preaching compelling? – Dr. Paul Boles
The Compelling Preaching Initiative at The Institute for Faith, Leadership, and Service at Azusa Pacific University seeks to cultivate space for pastors and ministry leaders to collaborate, learn, and grow together as preachers and in their overall flourishing as leaders. We do this by offering the following programs: the Compelling Preaching Cohorts, Preaching Conferences, the Certificate in Transformational Preaching, as well as the Formation and Preaching Lab for APU students.
This project is being led by William Whitney and The Institute for Faith, Leadership, and Service.

FAQ
What is Compelling Preaching?
Compelling Preaching offers community-oriented opportunities for preachers, pastors, ministry leaders, as well as undergraduate students at Azusa Pacific University to be sharpened in their preaching gifts and to become more deeply established in their spiritual lives.
We find ourselves at a point in history when preachers increasingly need to adapt their approaches to preaching to reach, inspire, and contribute to the spiritual development of hearers. This is a space for preachers – both current and aspiring – to explore the ever-changing landscape of preaching the gospel within a community of practice.
